I’m Katherine, the creator at Katau Studios. Perhaps you know me by my handle, “Katau.” The nickname was borne from the first three letters of my first name and the first two letters of my maiden name.

Alongside my freelance work, I am employed full time as a Graphic Designer in Utah. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Design and Graphic Design and over 10 years of artistic experience.

I have designed custom tattoos, illustrated for books, and have been commissioned for numerous artworks. Whether it’s drawing, painting, sculpting, crafting, or trying something new… I just enjoy creating!

I believe that life is meant to be enjoyed, and because I often struggle with anxiety, I value the peaceful, quiet times.
