Hello, pleased to meet you.

I’m Katherine, the creator at Katau Studios. Perhaps you know me by my handle, “Katau.” The nickname was borne from the first three letters of my first name and the first two letters of my maiden name.

Alongside my freelance work, I am employed full time as a Graphic Designer in Utah. To earn my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Design and Graphic Design, I worked hard to complete my 4-year degree in just 2 years and graduated with high honors before the school’s closure. I also helped create a tutorial for Photoshop Elements 2022!

I have designed custom tattoos, illustrated for books, and have been commissioned for numerous artworks. Whether it’s drawing, painting, sculpting, crafting, or trying something new… I just enjoy creating!

I believe that life is meant to be enjoyed, and because I often struggle with anxiety, I value the peaceful, quiet times.
